Baby Loss Support – Exploring the Depths of Baby Loss

Baby Loss Support: Navigating the Journey with Compassion

Losing a baby is an unimaginable experience, and compassionate support can make all the difference to that individual navigating their journey.

I entered the hidden world of baby loss through personal experience, then volunteering as peer support which led me to working professionally for Petals, the leading baby loss counselling charity, developing partnerships with NHS hospitals and workplaces, and managing the operational side of the counselling service.

Now I  follow my passion independently, and continue to provide support to bereaved parents and help others who are working with them or supporting them in whatever capacity that may be.

I work with various voluntary organisations in the perinatal mental health field, as well as NHS England to ensure that patient and public perspectives are heard.

It’s so important that we do what we can to support individuals on their journey.

So what can I offer you?

This is a community of VCSE perinatal mental health organisations, that provide support and wellbeing services to those experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties during the pregnancy and birth period.

I'm currently working alongside this excellent charity known as the Hearts and Minds Partnership, bringing professional and lived experience of the baby loss field to the collaboration of grass roots charity representation. We are working collectively to truly represent, understand and evaluate the work that the partnership does.
