Baby Loss Support: Navigating the Journey with Compassion

Losing a baby is one of the most devastating experiences a person can face. The grief is profound, the journey is deeply personal and the right support, offered with genuine compassion and understanding, can make all the difference.

My Story

I entered the hidden world of baby loss through personal experience – and it changed everything.

What began as navigating my own journey, became a deep commitment to supporting others through theirs. I began by volunteering, offering my time and presence to bereaved parents finding their way through unimaginable loss. That experience led me to working for Petals – the leading baby loss counselling charity, where  developed partnerships with NHS hospitals / ICB’s and workplaces, and managing the operational side of the counselling service. It was a role that brought together everything I’d built professionally, with the empathy that comes only from having walked this path yourself.

Today, I have the privilege of working across a range of organisations and with individuals directly, providing personalised support wherever it is needed. I work with VCSE organisations in the perinatal mental health field, and with NHS England to ensure that patient and public voices are heard, respected, and acted upon. Because those voices matter enormously.

Who I work with

I support those who are walking this journey AND those walking alongside them.

I help to build the knowledge, skills and structures needed t hold people well during one of the most difficult times of their lives.

Whatever brought you to this page, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your organisation or someone you care about – I’d welcome a conversation. Send me an email.
