Baby Loss Support – Exploring the Depths of Baby Loss

Baby Loss Support: Navigating the Journey with Compassion

Losing a baby is an unimaginable, devastating experience, and compassionate support can make all the difference to that individual navigating their journey.

I entered the hidden world of baby loss through personal experience. As a result I became involved in various support activities, volunteering my time and experience to help others through their journey. This led me to working professionally for Petals, the leading baby loss counselling charity; developing partnerships with NHS hospitals and workplaces, and managing the operational side of the counselling service. The role combined my business operations background, with empathy and support for those navigating their loss journey.

Now, I have the privilege of working with different organisations and individuals, providing personalised, tailored support as it is needed. I support bereaved parents and help others who are working with them or supporting them in whatever capacity that may be.

I work with various VCSE’s in the perinatal mental health field, as well as with NHS England to ensure that patient and public perspectives are heard. It’s so important that we do what we can to support individuals on their journey.
